well, didn't end up making the pie. unfortunately the rhubarb had gone off. but the next time it shows up in our fruit box, that pie will be made.

the weekend was not unproductive however!

flower bouquets were made!

and ben and i had an excellent date saturday that involved long walks through london, picnic on the locks of the canal and (best of all) art shops.

we have been better about utilizing our days off work.

we were productive and walked about outside this weekend.

we took taking advantage of the gorgeous weather two weekends ago to take over our local park to sun and picnic and drink (and get inadvertently turn into a lobster).

(the weather was pretty horrendous last weekend, so we finally cleaned the flat. not as good, but very much necessary...)

and three weekends ago a few of us went to go see peter pan at the barbican. we scored £6 tickets through a special promotion. the seats we got were normally £35. so yeah, we rock.
and the show was fantastic. a scottish company, and they set it in edinburgh. the music was phenomenal, captian hook wore a kilt (solid black though, no tartan pirates here) and tinkerbell was an actual floating ball of flame.
quite cool.

I really must get out to the theatre more often...
