the patriots got absolutely pummeled by the jets last night.
the jets, of all teams. (hate the jets)
it was painful.
so many mistakes.
so few touchdowns.
so much yelling and swearing at the television by all parties involved.
but in the upside, nobody expected the pats to get this far.
the defense is made up of almost entirely rookies, and they were re-inventing their offense on the fly, cutting randy moss, bringing back branch and incorporating the rookie tight ends more and more.
this was supposed to have been a re-building year, so ending the regular season with the nfl's best record and clinching the afc's top seed was...
nope.
can't do it.
sorry.
that game was horrible.
just horrible.
one of the worst performances I have seen out of them in years and it sucked.
sigh....
now, one can only root for the steelers to pound the jets into a bloody pulp next week and cheer on the packers to win the whole thing.
*and get banned to a dark corner of a closet for 9 months while it thinks about what it did.
